The tasting was in La Rioja (Spain) and Suckling was amazed by our Aldonza Navamarín again. He gave a score of 91 points. “Some Berry and herb carácter to this with a tobacco undertone. Medium to full body. Soft and round tannins and a flavorful finish. Drink or hold”. You have just read the tasting note that Suckling of Navamarín wine (Red wine aged in barrel – Minimum aging of 12 months in French and American oak barrels).
It was the second time that Aldonza wines faced the palate of the prestigious sommelier. This time, our red wine Aldonza Classic repeated with an excellent score of 90 points. “Very rich red and dark fruit here with a palate that delivers red licorice flavors, amid supple, finegrained tannin. Drink now”.
No less modest was the note that James Suckling awarded to the Aldonza Selección, a red wine minimun ageing of 9 months in american and french oak barrels. 89 points. The white wine Aldonza Albo scored. We feel especially satisfied with the work we are doing in our winery.
